Blue Star Juniper is grown more for texture and color than for coverage. The steel-blue needles are dense and eye-catching, and the plant naturally forms a mounded shape that works well as a small accent in beds, rock gardens, or entry plantings. Since it grows slowly and dislikes wet soil, it is best where drainage is excellent and the shape can really be appreciated.
